The mushroom is absolutely not for purchase. No inquiries, no deals, and no exceptions. What fool would ever think of selling something like that?

Neither should anyone think of touching Yvaine's heart.

I should certainly hope not, on both accounts.

A curse never does make sense. Actually, it's... well, I honestly don't remember even posting up that notice.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
I seem to remember seeing it on the Network, but as I recall, I was a bit preoccupied at the time, so I didn't remark on it. And it was fairly clear that you weren't...exactly yourself at the time, anyway.

[identity profile] gazingup.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Preoccupied? Did something happen?

I don't think any of us are ourselves when we're cursed, well, unless it's one of those strange spells that make us taste like food.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
In a sense. But it was the good sort of preoccupied, you see--last Sunday was my birthday.

I don't think I've ever had that one, actually! Though I do know people who have. I've always rather wondered what I'd end up tasting like, too. Cookies seem to be a popular choice, and ice cream does, too.

[identity profile] gazingup.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Then I must apologize for missing it, Rosella. You know- You know I would have come if I had been myself. I don't suppose I could make it up to you?

I... believe, once, I tasted something like chicken. Some sort of white meat.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, please, there's really no need to apologize, or to make anything up to me, for that matter. It was unfortunate that it fell on one of those weekends of random curses, but there isn't much that could've been done to help it, anyway. I was cursed the whole weekend, too, after all.

Like chicken? Really? How terribly odd...

[identity profile] gazingup.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
You were? In what way?

At lest let me make it up to you by inviting you out to- to perhaps a cafe, or-- we could even see the new flowers in Xanadu? Or that sounds too-- Or perhaps dinner?

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
Do you recall that one curse when you had a lion following you around, claiming to be a part of you? I had that one on Saturday, so Almeisan was back to visit again, and then on Sunday my brother turned up to accompany me around the whole day, but he was only a curse, too.

I'd like that very much, yes! I'm sure Xanadu is quite lovely at the moment, what with the weather getting warm now and all.

[identity profile] gazingup.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
He... he was only a curse? What do you mean? Was it like one of those days where people come to visit for only a few hours? Like that time when that strange man kept on insulting my hair.

Even with the trembling and lights? You- You wouldn't mind it?

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-27 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Not exactly. It was more like that day when all of our fathers came and followed us around for the day, but no one could see them but ourselves. He was there, in a sense, and I could see him as clearly as I could see anyone else, but no one else noticed him at all.

I wouldn't mind spending time with you at all, Tristan, though you might be right about the quaking and the lights. I have a rather bad feeling about what might come of all that. Perhaps it'd be better if we waited a few days, just in case something does come up?

[identity profile] gazingup.livejournal.com 2010-03-31 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Hopefully he was not the mean sort of brother? The ones who enjoy teasing their poor younger seasons.

And I- I wouldn't mind waiting at all, Rosella.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-03-31 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, not at all. Quite the contrary, he's really rather shy.

Then I'll look forward to it, and by all means, we'll go as soon as we get the chance.
